To effectively address today’s complex challenges, we must center the lived experiences of people, understand the systems in which they experience and navigate these challenges, and foster collaboration across disciplines and sectors.
Palash Singh is an innovation strategist with more than a decade of experience in leading interdisciplinary projects addressing global health and development challenges. His expertise lies in applying design-led innovation to drive research, strategy, and solution design while fostering collaboration and consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Palash started his career working on a multi-year income generation programme in Zimbabwe, Ghana, and Ethiopia, funded by India’s Ministry of External Affairs. In another project, he collaborated with Center for Applied Cognitive Science, University of Texas, Austin to study the motivation and performance of community health workers in India , and propose solutions to augment their efforts for improving maternal and child health outcomes.
He also led a futures scenarios process with youth in Kenya, and then worked with leading creatives in country to translate these scenarios into youth focussed family planning campaigns. In another project with Facebook, he drove an interdisciplinary team of experts to design content moderation guidelines to encourage prosocial behaviours.
At Sonder, Palash leads the Pathways family planning projects in Nigeria and Senegal, and works with the broader Pathways team to drive uptake of Pathways segmentation data among decision-makers.
